JOEY HALLELUJAH! GOD LOVES AMERICA! LAST SHOW MAY 2!

By April 21, 2015No Comments

Only two more weekends! I can’t believe it is already almost over.

I have been told time after time, as people are leaving the theater, that JOEY HALLELUJAH! GOD LOVES AMERICA! is the best one yet. I love it when people think that. The response we’ve had to this play by the people who attended has been very gratifying…because they leave talking about the message.

Comedies are fun for everyone. It is a nice change for Glenn and the company of actors to do something light-hearted and hear the laughter that lets them know the audience is enjoying the performance. Everyone has a good time.

But when you also know that something deeper is happening…that there is a message being imparted that can help someone look at the challenges of their life from just a slightly different perspective that can make the difference between a victory and a defeat, it becomes more than entertainment. That is what happens at Ragtown all the time.

I heard someone comment that they thought they had already seen this play. Of course, they had seen Saint John & The Televangelist., the play that introduced the Reverend Joey Hallelujah. I believe a lot of people have missed this one, not realizing that it is a completely different play…funny, with an encouraging, and timely message that will take you totally by surprise. I hope you will try to see it before it’s gone.

If you can, come on May 1st or 2nd. There are plenty of great seats for both performances. You won’t be disappointed.

I find it easy to write about my brother and the plays at Ragtown, but half the show is the music, and this is one concert that I truly wish you would experience. The Ragtown Gospel Band has evolved over time, and the new music that has begun to surface is better than ever. I think you’ll agree.

It will be a wonderful time with your family and friends. Don’t miss it.
